The circumstances this spring were unprecented, but we changed track to make our activities compatible with them. This mainly meant that all our activities became digital in format rather than physical gatherings.
We conducted a major transformation of our popular Career Programme. During May and June we arranged three online based career sessions via Zoom. The need for the programme was more pronounced and in deman than usual. In total, we helped around 22 talents in their search for a new or extended career in Sweden. The group constituted master students and accompanying partners looking for their first job to engineers and developers who had lost their job or about to lose their job, due to covid-19.
In collaboration with EURES we educated the participants in how to approach the Swedish job market, how to create a successful CV and LinkedIn profile, and to map their skills and future career.
We also looked for ways to connect with people socially, We started up our “First Friday Fika” that took place every first Friday each month. This was appreciated since many people had been working from home and hadn't had the chance to get to make new friends.

- In September we usually have a welcome gathering for those who recently have moved to Sweden. We will hold this welcome meeting digital on 22 September.
